Pig Launcher and Receiver Valve
Developed from existing forged steel 3PC trunnion mounted ball valves, Pig ball valves for launching and receiving are a good alternative for conventional systems for pig cleaning because of the compact structure, which also has the fireproof and anti-static device.
Developed from existing forged steel 3PC trunnion mounted ball valves, Pig ball valves for launching and receiving are a good alternative for conventional systems for pig cleaning because of the compact structure, which also has the fireproof and anti-static device. The valves are widely used in oil and gas pipelines to cut or connect the pipeline and clean the pipeline to improve the efficiency of pipeline transportation.

Brand: Neway
Application Scenarios:
-Clean the new installed pipe internal residue prior to first commissioning
-Internal pipe wall anti-rust and corrosion-resistant coating
-Pipe regular maintenance to the removal of liquid, wax, and general cleaning
-Isolation and transition of differential working media in the same pipe
-Double O ring sealing to prevent the leakage from stem area.
-Secondary metal-metal sealing perform when non-metal sealing is damaged.
-Double O ring sealing plug with two pressure-relieve holes to easy & save the operation on the field.
-Trunnion mounted ball design to extend seat life and reduce the torque of operation.
-Emergency seat sealant injection fitting to stop leakage from the seat.
-Isolated pig chamber to eliminate the requirement for an additional shut-off valve.
-Energized wave spring seats to ensure the sealing even at low pressure.
Pig Launching-Clockwise to close
Step 1-Open position -Through conduit flow, no pockets to trap wax or debris.
Step 2-Close valve -Upstream and downstream are sealed off. Vent body cavity pressure.
Step 3-Remove entry plug -Insert pig into valve ball cavity.
Step 4-Screw entry plug into place -Close vent valve.
Step 5- Open valve -Flowline pressure moves the pig downstream.
Pig Receiving-Clockwise to close
Step 1-Open position -Through conduit flow stopper in valve cavity arrests pig.
Step 2-Close valve -Upstream and downstream are sealed off. Vent body cavity pressure.
Step 3-Remove entry plug -Remove the pig from valve ball cavity.
Step 4-Screw entry plug into place -Close vent valve.
Step 5- Open valve -Flow brings the net pig along to be trapped.
